Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryRAYMOND DESAUTELS On Saturday, March 26, 2005, at the Pinawa Hospital, Raymond Desautels quietly passed away. He was the beloved husband of Doris (nee Philipation) and father of Debbie (Mac) Roberton. Ray is survived by his grandchildren, Destiny and Hope Odway, Andrew and Daniel Roberton; and sister Lorraine (Steve) Halek; as well as many brother and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. Ray was born in 1936 and grew up in Morris, MB. He lived most of his life in Birds Hill until they moved to Lee River. Ray retired in 1998 from ConForce after 42 years of working with heavy machinery. Ray could always be found in his garage working on some project, and if he wasn't there he would be shopping at the local Walmart (The Dump) or checking out the local garage sales. He was always proudly showing off his latest finds. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to Dr. Van Gend and the staff at Pinawa Hospital for their care and attention to Ray while he was there. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society (Manitoba Division), 193 Sherbrook St., Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9.
